Hello Marek,

I do not have any other references available at the moment but have read
Bilk's biography/ autobiography, I forget which. I do have however a
discography of Colyer and some record notes to hand.

I know that Bilk joined Ken's band as a relative neophyte at short notice
and recorded with him in June 1954, only 2 months after Sunshine had
recorded with Ken. Bilk's book tells that he had only been in London for a
short time before this with a group that was not really a success in "the
big smoke".

Acker last recorded with Ken in Oct. 1954, at least until a reunion session
came about in 1985.

I would not trust Acker's memory as an old man, we had him playing in our
Hot Jazz Club in Vancouver years ago and a combination of circumstances, you
can guess what may have been involved, made him a less than reliable
witness.
