TO ALL:
This is a public apology to Dave Gannett. I sometimes jump
to a conclusion far too fast and this is one of those times.

I was so glad to see access to the Black Dog CDs that I
was disappointed when my downloads failed. Previously,
I've had no problem (with my high speed connection) in downloading
large files, But in this case I think my own computer took
so long that the server dropped the connection. In the past
I've been able to go back and do it again, but something about
this situation made the server think the download
had completed and disabled my download link.
I've cleaned up my machine but will test it before trying again.

I did not mean to imply ANYTHING negative about Dave and
his service. In fact his approach to purchasing & delivering on line
is one of the best I've seen. I just wanted to see if anyone on the
list had had a similar problem before I tore my computer software apart.

In fact, I did note in a subsequent note to DJML that I figured that the
problem was my computer. I highly recommend both the CDs and
the web site. I am sorry if my communications made it look like a
complaint.

TO DAVE:
Sadly, for some reason, I've not seen either of the e-mails from
you Dave. That could be my machine again, so I'll check.
The correct e-mail address is civanj at roadrunner.com
If for some reason they bounce, tell me so via this list as I
seem to have no trouble receiving such posts. Please make sure
there is a 'subject' line as my mail program will not accept notes
without one
due to the incredible amount of spam that comes that way.
Regards,
Craig Johnson
