[Dixielandjazz] having just a so-so voice

As I said before there are three elements that are important.  A good voice, 
Sing in tune and styling  You can get away with a reasonable sounding voice 
as long as you sing in tune and style like crazy.  It's the styling that is 
the most important.   that's what the people pick up on.   Louis Armstrong 
had a terrible voice but oh how he could style.  Look at most of the best 
singers and they are foremost stylists with the other two traits trailing 
off.  You are truly gifted if you have all three.
