Hello all,

The website has been updated with 4 items of great historical interest to
devotees of Paul Barbarin, Charles Lee Cooke, Charles Lucky Roberts and
Horace Eubanks

Hal Smith sends an excellent essay on the New Orleans drummer Paul Barbarin.
This accompanies Barbarin's WWI draft registration card.

Brian Goggin sends a superb essay on bandleader and arranger Charles Lee
Cooke. This accompanies Cooke's WWI draft registration card.

Peter Hanley sends an in-depth essay on Charles Lucky Roberts. This
accompanies Roberts' WWI draft registration card.

The superb essay by British researcher Howard Rye on reedman Horace Eubanks
has been updated with new information regarding the date and cause of death
of Horace Eubanks. This accompanies Eubanks' WWI draft registration card.
Special thanks to David de Clue of St. Louis for sending in the important
details.

The above items can be accessed from the grey UPDATED BOX at:

http://www.doctorjazz.co.uk/

Hope you enjoy the above contributions from my team of top-class jazz
researchers.

Future essays and WWI draft registration cards will include : Tommy Ladnier,
Benjamin Anzelevitz (a.k.a. Ben Bernie), Dink Johnson, Hartzell Robert

Musically yours
