One list member commented that Tom Bethell's book on George Lewis was
"fine".
I beg to differ.
It was replete with a number of erroneous comments and so-called facts.
Bethell did not confine himself to reporting facts but offered opinions
which were often wildly off-target and in some cases objectionable.
Those factors make the rest of the contents questionable.
There will be more on this topic in my biography of Kid Howard which is due
out later this year.
