Dear Bill

Thanks for "copying" (for research purposes of course) the article from the 
Sydney Morning Herald. It is very intersting in summarising the present 
position, and says just about all that can be said publicly about the 
dilemmas, ethics, and law regarding copying. The big question, I think, is 
who is going to make records when a large percentage of the resulting output 
will be on CD copies? To take it to extremes, why not just make one CD, sell 
it to an Internett company for an exorbitant sum, and then allow free 
copying. Some 10% of the copies will have been bought from the Internet 
company, and the rest will be buddy copies.
