While there listen to the two versions of "King Porter Stomp". One from 1928
with banjo and one from 1933 with guitar?
And don't miss "Christopher Columbus" from 1936. Goodman went to school on
this arrangement.
Note how the Henderson concept of "swing" (taught by Louis Armstrong?) comes
into focus as the years go by.
This is what Hot Harlem Big Band Jazz was all about.
