Here are two very sexy Ballads by Jazz Giants. Not Dixieland but surely
OKOM. Perfect evening would be on a thick rug, in front of a fire, listening
with Nancy, or Nancie, or Janie, or Judie some cold winter evening, apres
ski, with a bottle of Cardhu single malt to warm us up.

"Sweet Lorraine" by Tenorman Zoot Sims, Bassist Red Mitchell and Swedish
Guitarist Rune Gustafsson. Sweden 1984.
Note Mitchell's fine bass work and see write-up for his tuning method.

Or Paul Desmond at Monterey Jazz Festival and "Emily".

Who said those modern guys don't know how to make love with their axes?

And here is Bechet "Sweet Georgia Brown" for the purists. With Roy Eldridge
on Drums!!!! + Teddy Buckner, Arvell Shaw, Vic Dickenson, Sammy Price

Cheers,
