About the "re-invented" Preservation Hall band reviewed in the NY Times, T.

Sorry, Tom, but I have to protest. The Hall opened roughly 46 years ago.
You didn't hear the band then. I did. By the same token, I didn't hear
(nor did you) the band reviewed by Ben Ratliff, and so I will not comment on
the quality of its performance.
Please do me a favor and refrain from evaluating music which you did not
hear.
