[Dixielandjazz] Benny Goodman performed by 4BEAT6

Dear listmates,
 
For those of you who like the Benny Goodman sound, notice there is a new
band in Europe - Holland, performing exactly the sound and music of the
early Benny Goodman (& Lionel Hampton Charlie Christian) sextet. They were
very much inspired by the book "Swingin' The Dream" of Prof. Lewis A.

For those of you in Holland: they will perform at Dutch theaters by
Jazzimpuls from September this year. A new CD has just released. The live
songs were recorded with one or wo mikes. The rehearsed for a year on the
original arrangements like Varsity Drag and Rachel's Dream but also to get a
balanced  sound on stage (acoustic, I mean without the PA system). 
This is something sound engineers do not understand during live gigs.....
