"My wife and I did not attend the Jubilee this year - it was the very first
one that we did not go. Our reasons were many - my wife has some mobility
problems, and we cannot move around too much. "

And Bob responded:

"While Old Sac is the prefered area for many people, if someone is having
mobility problems, the Convention Center would be better. Or, rent a
wheelchair."

My husband also has some mobility issues, and walking long distances or on
uneven terrain is problematic for him.
We stayed at the Sheraton, which is right across the street from the
Convention Center and a block away from
the Hyatt (which had a WONDERFUL Ragtime site!) All three were venues. We
hadn't stayed "downtown" before,
and had thoughts of losing the "atmosphere" of Old Sac.... but it was really
a great time both in terms of the
venues and the proximity of all three facilities.
