I just got this this morning.

For those of you who knew her, Dorothy and her late husband Herbert were wonderful, loyal fans of Turk and later, my band, the Golden Gate Rhythm Machine. During the time I did intermissions, she and Herbert came to Earthquake McGoon's every single Friday night and most Saturdays, to dance and listen.

Neat lady.

Hi Scott,
It has been some time since we spoke but I just wanted you and your wife to know that Mom passed away on Mother's Day from her battle with Alzheimer's. Her memorial service is on June 9th in Stillwater NJ and she will be laid to rest in the cemetary here in town. Although she passed away in Alameda, I do not believe there will be an obituary in the local paper. Would you mind letting people know that she might have known? I would appreciate it. 
Thank you and the other band members for giving her the happiest years of her life dancing to your music.
