Dear Paul,
Slightly off topic, but your comment reminded me of our clarinet 
player, Jack Wiard; who incidentally knows all 26 letters in the 
musical alphabet and can count beyond five keys
Whenever a young patron at a gig asks if we know some unknown pop tune, 
he usually replies "No, but we'll play some of the notes for you in our 
next number."
