Thanks, Hal, I found out afterwards that the date I thought was his first recording was, in fact, the date of his first album. I thought it was unlikely that the Ray Charles in the Gordon Jenkins choir was the famous Ray Charles, but I thought it was worth investigating. Kind Regards Bob
