here's what I think (Jerry Gordon):
1. There is indeed an awful lot pf pedantry, not only of the sort listed
above, but also of the "best lubricant for a trombone slide" variety.
 

It's been ages since we talked about that.  Glad you brought it up, Jerry!
It's about time for another serious discussion on instrument lubrication.
