Interesting history of the song. The Jews themselves are no strangers to
lynching, either here on occasion, or elsewhere, where their murders amounted in
the uncounted millions from causes far more common than lynching. I always
thought it strange that there was so little protest to this in other countries.
But then, I remember WWII.
