This one?

I am just now reading a very interesting history of Lewis Carroll and
Alice (done as a graphic novel that focuses on the 100 year old
Empire Theatre in Sunderland and the history of the area <http://
www.bryan-talbot.com/alice/> )

The OKOM/Beatles connection? George Formby (and his father before
him) was a major star at that theatre and both Jon Lennon and George
Harrison were members of a Formby fan club. According to this book,
John Lennon was much happier playing jugband/skiffle (and Formby)
songs on his banjo and only learned to play guitar Rock & Roll under
pressure from Paul McCartney!

It is all interconnected,I tell you!
