WBD can be heard on a tribute album to Bix as noted below, sharing the
trumpet/cornet leads with "Pete Pesci", (actually, Bobby Hackett who was
under contract to Capitol and thus used the pseudonym Pesci, an employee of
Condon's club). Also has Edmond Hall, Cutty Cutshall, George Wettling and
Gene Schroeder. (Hear "Singing The Blues" among others)

Bixieland. Columbia CL 719.  Eddie Condon and his All-Stars jamming on some
of Bix's favorites.

You can hear snips from it at the web site below. The first 10 songs are
from the album "Bixieland", rest are from Condon's "Treasury of Jazz."

Someone once said there were only 3 really great white trumpet players. Bix,
WBD and ?. (my memory fails me on #3)
