[Dixielandjazz] Musicians as guests

My final thought on this subject guys that I hope clarifies it:

Those general so called musicians who do act like that and do all those
aforementioned no no's are not Professional Musicians at all they may
be good players and even legends in their own minds, but Professionals
NOT. Being professional is a lot more than just being able to play an
instrument. But I do understand that some folks even have a hard
time being a Professional Person in Life in general :)) That is why
they rebel and have such a hard time adjusting behavioral attitudes on
gigs that are a lot less tolerant of that kind of attitude and
behavior. And in those situations it is always the client's fault or
anybody else except the perpetrator of the less than desirable conduct.

Cheers,

Tom Wiggins

I hear you Bob, and don't disagree. If anyone is boorish, getting drunk
and/or hitting on the bosses girlfriend that's a no no.

All I am saying is that there are bands like mine and Gary Kiser's out
there
that know full well, the value of being a guest rather than a hired
hand.

For us, well me at least, generalities are a no no.

Cheers,
Steve
