[Dixielandjazz] Hambone

My wife and I went to see the Broadway Musical "STOMP" the other night...it was glorified Hambone!
When I was in the Army, there was a short, stocky, happy-go-lucky black recruit in my company who could entertain the whole company all by himself by doing the Hambone...which is what we called him...he was incredible, thigh slapping, fingers snapping, feet tapping, lots of rhythmic moves, always improvising new moves...
There are some dancers who still fill in the breaks with their feet when we play it (Doin' The Hambone), some clap the breaks also!
