Wish I could be there! (Can't for personal reasons).
Eddie Higgins is scheduled to play in Tel-Aviv on 18th January 2008,
as part of a jazz series; anothe OKOM group will be the Scott Hamilton
Quartet (scheduled for 23rd Novwmber 2007).  It's the first time that
the person currently in charge of those series has included OKOM.  I
phoned him last night to enquire whether he was well, as he was
actually having jazz in his annual  "jazz" series (when Danny
Gottfried was in charge, there always was at least one OKOM group or
artiste, sometimes two, as he devoted programmes to traditional and
swing).
