Dear Hans,

Annette Hanshaw can hardly be described as OKOM. It's because of the
sometimes jazz accompaniments that she's known to us, e.g. "The Redheads"
(Nichols, Mole, Dorsey), "The Four Instrumental Stars" (Rollini, Venuti,
Lang, Berton). She often sang together with the Dorsey Brothers. There was
also a session with Mannie Klein and Benny Goodman.

Annette was herself a vaudeville and cabaret artiste.

Kind Regards

Bob Smith
