The DJML archives are wide open, not limited to members only.  So, yes, a 
Google search will have hits to the list.

But, type in "Martin double bell euphonium", and there are no hits to 
TubaEuph (groups.yahoo.com/tubaeuph)     Closed archives.

Further, search for "Yama York".  It shows TubeNet hits, none from TubaEuph. 
  TubeNet is open archives.

There's no vast conspiracy, right- or left-wing.  And, not every website is 
saved on the archival pages.
