  From what I understand, Mr. Brubeck is very selective as to whom he grants an interview.  Mike had to submit a resume with samples of his writing style in order to get the gig.  I heard of one reporter who started the interview by asking "So, how long have you played guitar?"  Needless to say, it was a rather short interview!
