Great article thanks.

I've read more than once that Bach was one of the first proficient 
improvizers in classical music. I seem to remember reading in one of my 
theory textbooks that one of Bach's Fugues was completely improvized. A 
very difficult task when you consider all the parts necessary to create 
a fugue.
