Now why would anyone gripe about some arrangement written in Gb. The cornet guy only has to play in 4 flats. Not really an ordeal, but challenging if you're used to playing everything in F or Bb.
What is really arduous are those adventurous song writers who take you into uncharted waters, like that sneaky Ray Noble who wrote a tune in Bb, and suddenly hits you with a bridge that starts off with a C# min. 9th (F# 13th), to a B, and takes you down full step by full step back to the home key. Someone with a heart would have left the song in something easily playable. Like, maybe "Cherokee"?
Regards.
