[Dixielandjazz] Not the "Old Left-Hander"!

Hi again, folks,
I've been doing a bit of googling on this twin stuff and found this
interesting bit about identical twins -
"Genetically speaking, the children of identical twins are half-siblings
rather than cousins."
That means essentially that such children have the same mother but different
fathers (or vice versa).
I don't know what else that means and I'm not reading anything into it.
On the topic of similar traits found in identical twins, it's not surprising
that the Midiri Brothers are both exellent musicians.
I know another set of identical twins, band leader (the Catsnjammers) Gene
Berthelsen and his brother. Gene's brother is not a musician (though I'm
sure he could easily be one) - he is a journalist. Interestingly, Gene is
unusually gifted in literary skills, has written several books (I think
unpublished) and has served in a public information capacity for both the
State of California and the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee. The Berthelsen
wordsmiths I call 'em.
Cheers,
Bill "Has anyone seen that movie, The Corsican Brothers?" Gunter
