[Dixielandjazz] Ancient Mariner Jazz Band

Thanks, Bill, Kay and everyone else who checked out the Ancient Mariners
Dixieland Jazz Band in the Boston area. List mate Larry Swain, up that way,
has also reviewed their performances for a local trad jazz publication.

What always amazes me is how many Dixieland Jazz Bands there are in the USA
that don't get much visibility other than locally in their towns. They have
to number in the thousands.

Puts into perspective just how fragmented OKOM is, and how small the DJML is
in comparison to the total number of Dixieland Musicians out there. To say
nothing about the number of people, like in the article, from little kids to
old folks who do hear this music because of those bands..
