To Bill Haesler, Brian Harvey, and Louis Lince, among others whom I believe
are out there wondering how to address the many wrongheaded assertions this
thread has spawned of late:

Sorry, guys.  I don't know where to begin.  My time is too valuable to me,
and so let me leave it like this:

If you weren't there during the '60s, and didn't hear the music the Hall was
presenting then, you simply aren't qualified to comment.

I have nothing more to say.
