I am wondering how "Busta Hyman & the penetrators" or whatever there name is
this week will do in 50 years time, when they are approaching middle age,
when they wish to listen to their early recordings that only went to iPod or
whatever.
Nobody yet knows for sure how stable CDs are, whether commercially produced
or "burned" at home (shouldn't the commercial ones be called burned and home
produced CD called dyed or something similar?).
We all know tape isn't a secure medium without a lot of work, even vinyl
isn't as good as the old 78s but we can still listen to old? recordings
without buying equipment that isn't too specialised.
