Hey folks in response to Larry's last post about the DJS having big
bucks to advertise and musicians or bands don't !!

That is simply not the case, the DJ has no more money and in most cases
less than a band does, Musicians and bands are simply too cheap to
spend money to make money.

A funny thing Happens when you don't advertise & Promote !

Absolutely NOTHING HAPPENS.

There is simply no excuse for it, especially in todays market with the
internet where you can get Free Advertising all over the planet.

Twenty four hours a day seven days a week. Pull your heads out of the
Sand and do some work !!

The Sky is Falling the Sky Is Falling!! Most musicians believed that
fifty years ago and ran into the Barn and never came back out. :))

Now for all you guys on here that work day gigs, Just how long do you
think your companies would stay in business if they did not advertise
and promote their business to bring in enough money to pay your
salaries and benefits?

The same thing applies to running a band folks, it is a business, treat
it like one and it will treat you like one in return.
If you can't or won't do that just give up that dream of quitting your
day gig, if any of you in this position still have that dream.

Cheers,

Tom Wiggins
