Shalom Jazz Fans,
Pat is no doubt correct. This means that the music, shows, food, or anything
else that may attract people to the place must also not be good enough to
divert their attention from gambling. Does that mean that mediocrity will
get the gig rather than quality?

... The purpose of just about everything in a casino is to lure people into
the place in the hope that they will lose some money at the tables or the
slots. Whether they dance or not is not as important as whether they gamble
or not.
