For an instrumental album in the same vein, "The Very Best of Irving
Garner" is great! It's just piano and drums.
---------------------------
I believe it's Piano, Bass and Drums.
Erroll, Ray Brown and Buddy Rich.
The music as well as the interviews (grunt grunt)
are hilarious.
---------------------
Jo Stafford / Paul Weston. "Sing Along With", has an added choir.
Almost as good, or bad, as Freberg's.
The cover "Artistry Of Jonathon Edwards" - mine has two LEFT hands
playing the piano.
Jo had FOUR careers going.
1) Jo Stafford
2) Cinderely Stump (spelling ?)
3) Darlene Edwards -
Paintings of Paul and Jo on the cover of "Sing Along With".
4} I know, but do you?
Hints:
Forecast of a jazz group yet to happen.
The dream of a standup bass player.
So far as I know 4 sides were released on 78rpm.
Symphony Sid played one of these all the time.
Cheers,
Al
