Mike -- I have the same video and have enjoyed it for years. It's a
Kinescope called Jack Benny's Jam Session. Tony Martin, clarinet. Fred
McMurray, tenor sax. Dick Powell, flueglehorn. Kirk Douglas, banjo. Dan
Daley, drums and dance steps. Jack Benny, violin. Rochester, grimacing
and holding his ears. Piano, guitar and bass, Phil Harris band members.
The tune was a special ensemble arrangement by Jack Benny of Basin Street
Blues featuring each guy on a 4-bar break. However, Kirk Douglas could
only play Bye Bye Blues, which he played during his 4-bar break. It is a
hilarious episode.

I made an HDDVD of it, but HD still didn't improve Basin Street Blues or Bye
Bye Blues.
