name (Victor 18618) - notorious because of the "laughing" vocal by Smith.
I've not heard it and I'd be intrigued by Ron's comment on it - Rust
descibes it as "nightmarish".<

Dear Anton and Ron,
The "Yellow Dog Blues" by Joseph C Smiths Jazz Orchestra can be heard on the
Red Hot Jazz Archive site.
  redhotjazz.com
A similar version of "Yellow Dog Blues" was reprised by Raderman with Ted
Lewis and His Band on 18 April 1930, with Harry Raderman and George Brunies
in the trombone chairs.
Not on the Red Hot Jazz site, but reissued on LP and CD.
Kind regards,
Bill.
