[Dixielandjazz] Wax cylinders

I've got Raderman's group doing Yellow Dog on an acoustic Victor.
Raderman played in a number of other bands besides fronting his own. He
featured his "laughing" trombone, which you probably heard on YDB. As a
youngster of 14, the recording was one reason I took up the trombone. I
was, in my ignorance, surprised when I heard another band play YDB and
there was no laughing trombone part in it!
I didn't think he'd done it on Wax cylinders. I would have guessed it
was on Blue Amberol, a 4 min. long celluloid cylinder.

I just purchased a very nice wax cylinder player...with 3
cylinders...one of
them being "Yellow Dog Blues", Fox Trot, with M. Raderman's Jazz
Orchestra...I haven't heard it yet...just too busy to wind up the
machine
and play it!
Question! Has anyone ever heard of that "jazz orchestra"?
The other one is, "On The Beach Medley", by The Waikiki Hawaiian Orch.
It's
amazing how good and how loud these sound!
