Janie and all,
Check out Pier 23 next time you're in SF.  Every Tuesday they have a piano player:  Virginia Tichenor, Ray Skjelbred, Marty Eggers, and Frederick Hodges take turns playing ragtime, jazz, etc.
Sometimes they have very interesting musicians join them, such as Jim Cullum, Clint Baker, Leon Oakley, Ken Keeler, and others.
