The Miller material the AVID set: "Glenn Miller: Missing chapters; v. 5
Abbey Road recordings". This was one of Avid's stereoizations and I've
been flabbgergasted by the sound of the band. I think the same material
was also issued by RCA.
Charlie's Big Band or whatever it was called is one of the 4 CDs in the
Proper Box set "Swing tanzen verboten: swing music and Nazi propaganda
music...". The other 3 CDs have oodles of great European jazz during the
Nazi years.
