[Dixielandjazz] Jack Maheu update- from Tim Laughlin

Here's the current update on New Orleans clarinetist Jack Maheu who has
suffered a stroke but has made a remarkable recovery.  Here is Tim
Laughlin's report.

Jack was moved yesterday to Tulane Lakeside Hospital. He will be there for
the next seven days when they will evaluate him, keep him there or send him
home. He is doing better. He's able to get up and around. His clarinet is in
his room. Personally, I think it's the best therapy he'll get. I am told he
is determined to perform at French Quarter Fest in the next few weeks. His
band is still on hold. If anybody can do it, "The General" will.

I don't know about personal visits or calls. Right now, it's only close
