You see them on ebay now and then, made by Conn, typically with the bell in 
very sad shape.
They sell for about $150.
A lot got sold to the drum corps market.
I've got a pair of them, mainly because they look so beautiful.

One thing you have to realize when you read the articles cited is that these 
things are very difficult to:
a) play
b) in tune
c) with a nice sound

I have the same Kenton video, and that performance on those horns is close 
to unbelieveable.

I also have a vintage Olds mellophone, and it is a lot better behaved. I 
would imagine that whatever the drum corps are using today is better 
still....
