That was not the East Bay City Band.  Bob had a small group called the
Lucky Penny for a while but he also had the 2 cornet front line band
that you describe.  I just can't think of their name at the moment and
the LPs are at home.  Ah, wait, its coming to me. The Yankee Rhythm
Kings, maybe?

East Bay City was, if memory serves, a fine Boston band in the late 70's

no idea when they broke up, if ever.  Leader: Bob Connors, bone (88H),
Trpt 
- Dave Whitney, Cornet- Paul Monat.  If they were using tuba, it would
have 
been Stu Gunn, I think.  They used to play a big room in a converted 
warehouse near Boston Garden.
