Bob: play the theme unisono of in voices and after that
you're on your own. Stay away from the melody and concentrate
on licks.
Trad: play while listnening to the others, react on what they are doing,
make a team. Go for the collective. Keep the melody in mind and
stay away from licks.
Just my way of dealing with "the problem".
