[Dixielandjazz] "double" slide on a trombone

About 40 years ago, a friend had a trombone with a double slide 
(half-length) I played it a few times. It seemed like it should have been a 
great idea, but it wasn't. Most bone players know that just the tiniest of 
adjustments in slide position is what makes the horn play in tune. On this 
horn, those adjustments were too tiny and almost impossible to do 
accurately.
