Well, is the Count Basie orchestra playing jazz? What about Duke
Ellington? Or is the actual jazz confined to improvised solos? What
about the Red Hot Peppers, where the solos were all pre-determined?
And if it isn't jazz, what *is* it? (vbg &c)
