[Dixielandjazz] Another "medical" Dixieland Band

Hello listmates,

Steve B. said (regarding Dr. Bach and the Jazz Practitioners):

>Damn, the Doctors from Auburn CA are getting all the gigs.

In this particular case, that's like saying "Damn, the Philadelphia Lawyers
are getting all the gigs."

Charlie Gehlbach is an M.D. but he has also paid his musical dues! He has
played for years here in our neck of the woods (Northern California) - is a
member of the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society, has served as music
director and head of the music committee for the STJS, and has performed in
the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee as far back as I can recall.

His band is composed of competent musicians and Dr. Bach and the Jazz
Practitioners are as worthy as any band to play in any venue where OKOM is
featured!

Respectfully submitted,

Bill "So there!" Gunter
