Well Edwin, I guess it really boils down to a judgement call on the
performers part. If you feel comfortable performing songs as is(and you
feel that you won't offend your audience or if you don't care if you
do)then perform as is. You are right about rap music; other than being
disgusting and downright rude it often doesn't make any sense. We can
either raise the bar or lower it, the choice is ours.
