He leaves behind a rich legacy of recordings.

Truly sad news for me -- and for all who knew and loved Ade. I was happy
to have met him, played some sessions with him on a stateside tour, and
even was "adopted" by him at Sacramento -- he gave me his blue beret
which a still have, calling it my "inheritence." I have many of his
recordings from over the years. A good player he wqs, and a delighful
and charming man. Considering the energy he put into his playing, I
never could understand why he was called "Lazy Ade."
I add my own feelings of shared sorrow, but I shall keep him in my
happy thoughts in years ahead each time I play one of his wickedly
wonderful rompers.
Take a well earned "five," Ade, and I'll see you later somewhere down
the road.
