[Dixielandjazz] Spirit of 29 Dixieland Band was Looking for a Trombone Player who can Read

"Spirit of 29" . . . Elliott Kenin. Forgot about him. Banjo player, 4, 5 and
6 string. He lived here for a couple of years in the mid 1990s before he
went back to the Bay area. I gigged with him frequently, along with Pete
Pepke (TB) and Jim Parker (TU). Great entertainer and a "working" musician.

Right after he went back, he got a gig in Candlestick Park at Giant games.
It was he who taught me how to price trad jazz correctly. He also writes
songs. Still remember one called "Rubber Ducky".

Could very well be Elliott's band. He is well versed in SF style. Did lots
of corporate gigs here. Probably still does there. If you see him, please
pass on my regards and my thanks.
