Actually, having her come to me was much more convenient. And I guess it
worked well because it was patently obvious there was no other possible
use for my Augean office. She asked about the costume deduction, I reached
over and waved a red and white striped vest that was hanging up.
BTW, the food deduction was all local fast food and salad bars, except one
out-of-town receipt for $32 that didn't phase her--it was in conjunction
with a gig. At the time anything over 100 miles was considered "away", so
it was OK, but the less than 100 miles was considered food you'd get
anyway.
