Just at short notice to tell you the sad news of today: Putte Wickman, the
great Swedish clarinetist, has passed away today, 81 years of age. I
attended a concert with him last summer at the 2005 IAJRC convention in
Copenhagen.  The news about his death mentions that he was an active
musician until his death. (
